Barring any catastrophe, Mexico should have no problem in disposing of Cuba in their Gold Cup match at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte tomorrow.

After all, the Mexicans kicked off their Group A stint with a 5-0 thrashing of El Salvador. Javier Hernandez delivered a hat-trick while Aldo de Nigris and Efrain Juarez scored a goal each as El Tri blew the game apart after being held scoreless in the first half.

Manchester United's Hernandez, who is popularly known as Chicharito, dedicated his three goals to teammate Shinha's father, who recently passed away.

Mexico head coach Jose Manuel de la Torre, meanwhile, was forced to make changes in his line-up after defender Ricardo Osorio was sent home due to a urinary tract infection.

Cuba, meanwhile, is not expected to be a threat to Mexico's winning ways. The Caribbean side was crushed by Costa Rica 0-5 in its opening match. The Cubans have now lost eight of their last nine matches in the Gold Cup. The island-nation has won only once in 14 Gold Cup matches, with that lone win coming at the expense of Canada in 2003.
