Group B opening night winners’ battle for supremacy

In last night’s Gold Cup action at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, Costa Rica defeated Jamaica 1:0, the goal courtesy of Celso Borges in the 64th minute. Canada also recorded a 1:0 victory over El Salvador in the later game, with the decisive goal again coming from Ali Gerba.
